Tensioning the drive belt 7.7
WARNING
Risk of injury on mechanical parts!
If these guidelines are not followed, minor to moderate injury,
especially to the hands, can occur.
¹ Follow the notes concerning the C-arm carbon fiber
structure.
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Noncompliance can lead to medium to severe injuries and/or
property damage.
¹ The C-arm covers contain counterbalance weights and
weigh approx. 6 kg.
¹ Hold the covers firmly when installing or removing
them. Before the C-arm cover is loosened, the C-arm
must be moved to its middle orbital position. If the
C-arm covers are loosened, the C-arm may not be
moved to its orbital end positions (I.I. or SIREPHOS at
the orbital end position).
x Move the C-arm to the middle orbital position.
x Remove the C-arm counterbalance weight on one side of the C-arm.
x Slacken the drive belt ((1/Fig. 60 / p. 145)).
x Loosen the drive belt holder ((1/Fig. 61 / p. 145)).
x Adjust the drive belt in the holder by one tooth to tension it. Then fasten it again.
x Reattach the drive belt holder.
x Tension the drive belt ((1/Fig. 60 / p. 145)).
x Reinstall the C-arm counterbalance weight.
