6. Transportation of applicator
Systems mounted to stands without castors, have to taken apart to be transported.
A T-base with castors is only designed to provide roll-away access from the adjacent labeling
area for applicator service. If the applicator needs to be transported over a greater distance,
several additional safety measures must be followed when using a T-base stand.
• Return the applicator to an “Upright and Above” orientation (see Pos.
, Fig. 3-2 on
Page 21) on the T-base stand.
• Only rotate the applicator about one axis at a time to achieve
• Lower the applicator to the bottom of travel on the T-base vertical carriage.
• Exercise caution to prevent tipping when transporting the applicator, especially over
cracks and other abnormalities that may cause a castor to suddenly stop or change
direction.
