6. Install the inner unwind disk and label roll support
7. Install the label roll and push the outer unwind disk close to the roll.
8. Load the label liner for an operational test
9. If the tension of the Dancer Arm is properly set the procedure is finished here. Otherwise
see next point.
10. If the tension is too loose, the brake will not stop the unwind mandrel. This will cause
excess slack in the label stock roll and the labels will not correctly eject. If the tension is
too tight, the stepper motor will pull against the unwind brake. This may stall the motor or
it may cause an instable positioning of label onto the products.
Note! Ensure that the dancer arm is always under low tension in home position. In
general, the tension must be greater if the machine must be set up to a faster application
speed. Because a higher speed of label unwind requires a stronger brake power.
