3. LUBRICATING SYSTEM
[1] OIL COOLER
The 07 series engine has a coolant-cooled oil cooler
that not only cools hot oil, but also warms the cool engine
oil shortly after start up.
As shown in the figure, the oil flows inside the
connected cooler plate, whereas coolant is kept
circulating outside the cooler plate, thereby cooling down
or warming the oil.
