5: Replacement Procedures
Procedures
Parameter Update
Step 1. Go to Start > Devices and Printers. Right click on the Zebra ZXP Card Printer
listing, then select Printer properties > Device Settings.
Step 2. The Device Settings tab will open.
Step 3. Click on the Tools button (arrow above).
Important • Before starting the Firmware Update, refer to the Standard Test Card you
printed prior to removing and replacing the Main
PCBA. You will need the Head Resistance,
the X and Y Offsets, and the End of Text value to update the firmware on the replacement
Main
PCBA.
If for any reason you were unable to print the Test Card, contact Zebra Technical Support to
obtain the above values.
