WARNING
Before proceeding, turn off the oven and any
heated zones and let them cool down. Turn
off all detector gases at their supply, then
turn off the main power switch and unplug
the power cord.
Prepare the instrument
1. Open the lid. Lower the stop plate on the
cam and raise the lid until stopped by the
safety cable. Raise the stop plate and
tighten the screw to lock the lid in the
upright service position.
2. Remove the back panel of the GC. Follow the
wires from the ventilating fan to the cable
connector. Disconnect the cable and set the
panel aside.
3. Find the plastic plug in the larger hole on the
left side panel. Remove it.
