Caution
When you update the GC firmware, all
method and LAN information is erased. To
avoid this, copy/record methods and LAN
information, update the GC firmware, then
reload the saved material.
3. Select the update file and press Execute.
To update the Injector firmware, the Control
Module must contain firmware revision
A.03.00 or higher.
Caution
Do not turn off the GC power, disconnect the
GC power cord, or disconnect the Control
Module from the GC until the update process
is either completed or cancelled. A disruption
to the Control Module during the firmware
update can make the GC unusable.
4. When the confirmation screen appears, reply
Yes to continue or No to cancel this proce-
dure.
The firmware will be updated. The update
may take several minutes. When complete,
the instrument restarts to enable the new
firmware.
5. For GC firmware updates, restore the meth-
ods and local LAN addressing information (if
used).
