f1 Install

7. When “Do you install an application software?” is displayed, select
Yes using the arrow keys or rotary knob, and then press
Enter
. If you
want to stop installing the software, select
No and press
Enter
.
8. When the software installation is complete, the power is turned off
automatically.
9. Turn on the power again.
10. Check the version changed.
For how to confirm the version, refer to 6.1.2 “Checking Instrument
Data”.
The measurement conditions and calibration value are initialized when
the software is updated. Files saved to drive D: are not erased or changed
by updating software.
To update software license
1. Connect the USB memory for installation to MS9740B.
2. The updating software window is displayed.
3. Press
f3 Software License Install
to open the drive selection window.
4. Select the USB memory drive using the arrow keys, and then press
f7
Set
.
5. When the file name is displayed in the dialog box, move the cursor
using the arrow keys. Press
f2 Select All
to select all files displayed.
6. When the confirmation dialog box for the installation is opened, press
f1 Install
.
7. Restart Windows after finishing the installation to validate the
license.
