– Insert the shift mechanism and tighten the nuts -arrows-. Tight‐
ening specification -16- ⇒ page 60 .
– Route the cables -1- from the shift mechanism -2- to the trans‐
mission as follows:
• The cables must run parallel to each other and must not in‐
tersect.
• The cables must be routed in the provided recesses in the heat
shield -3-.
Note
The enlargement shows the heat shield from above.
A clip -A- holds the cables and heat shield to each other in place.
