The Traction Drive System
1. The machine travels up and down the lane by means of a traction drive motor connected
through a chain to two drive wheels. Refer to Figure 7-7.
a. At the optional “Fast” speed, the machine travels forward at a constant 27 inches per
second.
b. At “Medium” speed, the machine travels forward at a constant 24 inches per second.
c. At “Slow” speed the machine travels forward at a constant 21 inches per second. This
option is used to optimize lane cleaning
