Spring Bias Adjustment
202192M1
ENDMARKER BIAS SPRING ADJUSTMENT
The spring bias adjusts the amount of down pressure on
the marking disc. More pressure will leave deeper marks
in the field. If possible, adjust the spring so it is tensioned
when the endmarker is retracted. This will prevent
excessive movement when the arm is retracted. The disc
weight should be benchmarked at 23 kg (50 lbs) and
adjusted accordingly.
1. Loosen the 1/2" x 3 1/2" bolts (1) on the spring bias
adjustment bracket.
2. Loosen the 3/4" jamnut (2).
3. Adjust the 3/4" x 14" bolt (3) until the desired disc
weight is achieved.
4. Re-tighten the jamnut (2) and bolts (1).
