SINGLE RANK OPERATION
Either the front or the back rank of the drill can be locked up to change row spacing. On the 7.5” spacing drill, the rear rank
can be locked up for planting on 15” rows. Thirty inch row spacing can be achieved by locking up the front rank and using
every other opener on the back rank.
The following procedure should be followed for single rank operation.
1. Place the cylinder locks in all the subbar cylinders on
the rank to be locked up and pin in place.
2. Plant as normal. The cylinder locks in the subbar
cylinders will keep the locked-up rank from planting.
FOR CONCORD AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM
- Verify hose routing from the secondary manifolds is
correct. Air lines from the secondary manifolds should
alternate between the front rank and the rear rank. The
manifold port connected to the locked-up rank should
be plugged.
- The plugs in the manifold ports will block seed flow to
the locked-up rank.
FOR ADX AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM
- Make sure that the primary distribution hoses for the
rank to be planted are connected to the tank with the
product. Make sure the hoses to the locked up rank are
not connected to a tank that will be metering product.
