SECURING THE FRAME FOR REPAIR WORK
Before disconnecting the wings, the openers
should be resting on the ground.
1. Pins and bolts on the frame are difficult to remove
because of the frames shifting. The height of the frame
can be adjusted using a long stroke jack to raise the
frame. Adjusting the frame height will make removal
of the pins easier.
2. Once the pins have free movement, secure the wings
with jack stands.
3. Once the frame is stable in all directions, disconnect
wings by removing nuts, bolts, and washers.
4. Remove and replace bushings (Garmax and steel) if
necessary or repair joint or frame.
NOTE: Refer to center section and wing section
assembly drawings and parts lists for part
details.
