SDX30 FRAME BRACE KIT
NOTE: This kit was a mandatory update on SDX30 drills up to and including Serial Number CKB0028188.
1. Install the left hand plate weld bolting brace (1) (P/N
425016A1) to 6" x 10" truss wing weld and left rear
wing lift as shown.
- Install 3/4" x 6 7/8" x 11 1/2" u-bolts and nuts to 6"
x 10" tube.
- Install 3/4" x 3" bolts and nuts (3) to mount bolting
brace to left rear wing lift. Torque to 280 N-m
(205 lbf-ft).
2. Install the plate bolting left hand brace (1) (P/N
425009A1) on to 4" x 6" front wing tube.
- Mount the bracket 57 cm (22 1/2") from the center
of the hinge point.
- Install the bolting plate (2) (425013A1) and 3/4” x
3" bolts and nuts (3). Do not tighten bolts until
brace is installed, see Step 3. Torque to 280 N-m
(205 lbf-ft).
NOTE: On 10" spacing drills, the black cast bracket
will have to be moved to the left side of the
brace bracket.
