Lower Than—Maximum prefix length to be used for matching. Select one of
the following options:
- No Limit—No maximum prefix length to be used for matching.
- User Defined—Maximum prefix length to be matched.
Description—Enter a description of the prefix list.
STEP 4 Click Apply to save the configuration to the Running Configuration file.
IPv6 Access Lists
NOTE This page is only found on SG500X/SG500XG devices.
Use this page to create access lists used in MLD proxy. See MLD Proxy.
To create an SSM access list in Layer 2 mode:
STEP 1 Click Administration > Management Interface > IPv6 Routes.

To create an SSM access list in Layer 3 system mode:
Click IP Configuration > IPv6 Management and Interfaces > IPv6 Routes.
All SSM access lists are displayed.
STEP 2 Click Add and enter the following fields:
Access List Name—Select one of the following options:
- Use existing list—Select a previously-defined SSM access list.
- Create new list—Enter the name of a new list.
Interface—Interface used to forward the packet.
Source IPv6 Address List—Select one of the following options:
- Any—Any IPv6 address can be the source.
- User Defined—Only the specified IPv6 address can be the source.
Prefix length—Enter the prefix length of the source IPv6 address.
Action—Select one of the following options:
- Permit—Permit passage of the source IPv6 Address.
