network-clock synchronization ssm option
network-clock synchronization ssm option
To configure the Synchronous Status Message (SSM) option for a Synchronous Ethernet (SynchE)
network clock, use the network-clock synchronization ssm option command in global configuration
mode. To return to the default value, use the no form of this command.
network-clock synchronization ssm option [ [1 | 2] GEN1 | GEN2 ]
no network-clock synchronization ssm option [ [1 | 2] GEN1 | GEN2 ]
Syntax Description
Defaults The default is Option 1.

Usage Guidelines When Option 2 is selected, GEN1 must be configured. GEN2 is not supported in Release 15.1(2)EY.
Examples The following example shows how to configure the ssm option:
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# network-clock synchronization ssm option 2 GEN1
