Signaling operation register group
This group of registers is 16 bits wide. Its main task is to deal with events related to the signaling status. The signaling
operations depend on the system option and the contents of the signaling operation register group are detailed in
the appendix.
The Result bit of this group of registers is forwarded to bit 8 of the general operation register group.

The commands related to the general operation register group and its subordinate
groups of registers all start with :STATus:OPERation:.
Bit Decimal Meaning
0 1 The signaling is in IDLE state
1 2 The signaling is in PAGING state
2 4 The signaling is in CALL ACTIVE state
3 8 The signaling is in CLOSED LOOP state
4 16 The signaling is in ASYNC state (Multislot)

6 64 Reserved
7 128 SMS has been received from mobile
8 256 The mobile is alerting
9 512 The mobile is performing a Location Update
10 1024 The mobile sends a paging response (only in loc. upd. barred
mode)
11 2048 Location Update signalling is running
12 4096 SMS signaling is ongoing
13 8192 Not used.
14 16384 Not used.
15 32768 Not used.
