X-PRESS Human Machine Interface
X-PRESS is the intuitive Human Machine Interface designed to improve ease of
installation and maintenance.
Status information is clearly presented b
y means of the five colored LEDs,
whereas the single push button gives immediate access to the following relevant
functions:
• Test with bar graph visualization to check
static reading performance
• Aim/Autofocus to turn on the LED point-
ers to aid positioning and focusing
• Setup to perform Exposure Time and
Gain calibration
• Learn to self-detect and auto-configure
for reading unknown codes
X-PRESS Functions
Quick access to the following functions is provided by an easy procedure using
the push button:
1. Pr
ess the button (the Status LED will give a visual feedback).
2. Ho
ld the button until the specific function LED is on (Test, Aim, Setup or
Learn).
3. Re
lease the button to enter the specific function.
Once button is pressed, the cycle of LEDs activation is as follows:
