Indicateherehowthesensorhasbeenconnected(thediagramdisplaystheselec-
tedwiring):
2 Wire:Thesensorisconnectedwithonlytwowires.Thisisrecommendedonly
forveryshortlinesandhighimpedancesensorsotherwisetheresultingvoltage
dropacrossthecircuitscanleadtomeasurementerrors.Alternatively,asensor
canbeusedwiththreeconnections,wheremeasurementtakesplacewithoutline
compensation.
4 Wire:Therecommendedconnectionmethodforlowimpedancesensorsand/or
longersupplylines.Thelossoffeedlinesdoesnotmatterbecausethedevicehasa
high-ohminputresistance(novoltagedroponthelinefeed)andthevoltagedrop
(themeasurementvalue)canbemeasureddirectlyatthesensor.
