Chapter 10 Gynecology Measurements & Calculations
The gynecology examination is usually performed in the B mode and PW mode.
10.1. Measurements and Calculations in B Mode
1. Press Transducer, select the desired probe model and the exam mode Gynecology/
Endovaginal, and then press OK, or double click on the exam type.
2. Press B to enter the B mode.
3. Press Measure to activate the application measurement function. The system displays the
measurement menu, as shown below.

To determine the volume of right ovary or left ovary, perform three measurements: length, width,
and height. The system calculates the volume.
