9.2.2. RV (Right Ventricle Internal Diameter)
1. In the B-cardiac measurement menu, roll the trackball to highlight RV.
2. Measure RV by the method of distance.
3. The result will be displayed in the measurement result window.
9.2.3. PA (Pulmonary Artery)
1. In the B-cardiac measurement menu, roll the trackball to highlight PA, and press Set to
display a “+” in the image area.
2. Measure PA by the method of distance measurement.
3. The result will be displayed in the measurement result window.
9.2.4. MVA (Mitral Valve Area)
1. In the B-cardiac measurement menu, roll the trackball to highlight MVA, select Ellipse or
Trace, and then press Set to display a “+” in the image area.
2. Measure MVA by the Ellipse or Trace method of B-mode generic measurement.
3. The result will be displayed in the measurement result window.
9.2.5. AVA (Aortal Valve Area)
4. In the B-cardiac measurement menu, roll the trackball to highlight AVA, select Ellipse or
Trace, and then press Set to display a “+” in the image area.
5. Measure AVA by the Ellipse or Trace method of B-mode generic measurement.
6. The result will be displayed in the measurement result window.
Other parameters:
If you want to perform other cardiac parameter measurements, please enter B+M mode or M
mode cardiac measurement.
9.3. Cardiac Measurements in D Mode
Cardiac measurements in D mode include Velocity, PG, Time, Heart Rate, Slope, PHT and Trace
(Manual).
Note: All these cardiac measurements in D mode will not be entered into the cardiac report.
