12 Analog loop modules
The following two analog loop modules are available for the Fire alarm control panels 8000C/M:
esserbus
®
analog loop module (Part-no.
78
4382)
Analog loop module to connect fire detectors series 9200 and esserbus
®
transponders. For the
analog loop module operation the power supply module (Part-no. 802426) must be configured with
the appropriate jumper to 27,5V loop voltage.
2.) esserbus
®
-PLus analog loop module (Part-no.
80
4382)
Fire alarm panels 8000C and 8000M with esserbus
®
-PLus are based on the standard esserbus
®
functionality with the additional function to connect and power audible alarm devices directly to the
analog loop. For this operation of the Analog loop module it is necessary to set the loop voltage of
the Power supply module (Part-no. 802426) with the appropriate jumper to 42 V. The audible
alarm devices connected to esserbus
®
-PLus are supplied by the loop voltage and do not need an
external power supply.
Basic data on analog loop
♦
Less than 127 zone isolators per analog loop.
♦
Less than 127 loop devices on an analog loop.
♦
analog loop may be divided into 127 individual detector zones (customer data programming).
♦
no more than 32 analog detectors per detector zone.
♦
capability of combining loop and spur loop operation. No sub-spur branching!
♦
Recommended type of cable for analog loop: line transmission cable IY(St)-Y 0.8 mm
(diameter).
♦
Max. impedance of the analog loop incl. spur measured from terminal A+ to B+, with a cable
cross section of 0.8 mm = 75
Ω
(0.6 mm = 130
Ω
). This value corresponds to an overall cable
length of approx. 2000m (outgoing and return lines).
♦
no more than 32 esserbus
®
transponders on one analog loop.
♦
no more than 100 esserbus
®
transponders per control panel.
♦
max. 8 communications transponder per Analog loop
♦
max. 16- communications transponder per Fire alarm control panel 8000C / M
