Fire Alarm Computer 8000C / M
The microprocessor for controlling the control panel functions, the operating system EPROM and
the customer data EPROM for the saving of data recorded in the customer data programming are
to be found on the basic module. The power supply module for the voltage supply of the control
panel and the connected external devices is plugged onto the basic module. Additionally, a freely
selectable micro module can be plugged onto the basic module. A field device or
an extension
module is plugged into slot 1. Slot 2 is only used on the FACP 8000M. The extensions module
772421 (with 3 micro module slots) can be plugged into slot 2.

The field device module (when present) must always be plugged into
slot 1
of the basic
module.
Slot 2
is without function on the basic module FACP 8000C.
Connection terminals
To simplify installation, you may detach the connection terminals from the basic card. After
connecting the wires, fit the terminal strip back onto the plug-in contacts on the basic card.
