7.1.8 +CMTI, Unsolicited Response (New SMS-DELIVER Receipt
Indication)
The +CMTI unsolicited response is sent to the TE upon receipt of a new SMS-DELIVER SM, if the +CNMI
parameter <mt> is set to 1. Refer to “+CNMI, New Message Indications to Terminal”.
This unsolicited message indicates that a new SMS-DELIVER message was received, and is stored in
location <index>:
+CMTI: <mem>,<index>
The following table shows the +CMTI parameters.

Message memory space.
"SM" - SIM memory storage.
<index>
Location of the new message.
