External Modulation
54200 allows external video and sound modulation by an external CVBS signal respec-
tively sound signal so the instrument is used as an RF modulator.
External Video Modulation
In the External Video mode the vision carrier can be modulated by an external video sig-
nal (VBS or CVBS), whereby the nominal amplitude should be 1 V pp with a positive
going polarity. The maximum permissible input voltage is
ñ
5 V (peak-peak + dc).

For the internal video modes the external applied video signal must not be switched off
or removed.
