5.2.7 Enabling SVOM boot watchdog functionality
If ServerView Operation Manager boot watchdog functionality has been
disabled for firmware upgrade purposes (see section 5.1.2 on page 94), it has
to be re-enabled to complete the maintenance task.
Timer settings can be configured in the BIOS or using the ServerView iRMC
web frontend:

Ê Enter the BIOS.
Ê Select the Server Mgmt menu.
Ê Under Boot Watchdog set the Action setting to Reset.
Ê Save your changes and exit the BIOS.

Configuring boot watchdog settings using the iRMC web frontend
Ê Enter the ServerView iRMC web frontend.
Ê Select the Server Management menu.
Ê Under Watchdog Settings ensure that the check box next to Boot Watchdog is
selected. From the drop down list choose Reset and specify the desired
timeout delay.
Ê Click Apply for the changes to take effect.
