Description
NEXRAD Selects type of NEXRAD coverage when FIS-B
is the selected data link source:
CONUS: Selects coverage for continental U.S.
Regional: Selects coverage for a region,
which provides a higher resolution.
Combined: Combines CONUS and regional
coverages.
Or:
Selects type of NEXRAD coverage when
SiriusXM is the selected data link source:
COMP: Displays composite reflectivity image.
Base: Displays base reflectivity image.
Storm Cell
Movement
Adds or removes the display of storm cell
movement information on the PFD Map
(only available when SiriusXM is selected as
the data link weather source). The softkey
annunciator is green when the function is on.
When the function is off, the annunciator is
subdued.
NEXRAD
Animation
Adds or removes the display of NEXRAD
animation on the Inset Map (only available
when SiriusXM is selected as the data link
weather source). NEXRAD animation is
not available for display on the HSI Map.
