o Network Selection is the IP address mode for the IP Phone. The radial button
selects static or DHCP address mode.
o IP address
is the IP address of the Phone (wired connection) or WiFi module
(wireless connection).
o Subnet Mask
is the subnet mask for the connection wired or wireless.
o Default Gateway
is the default gateway IP address for the connection wired or
wireless.
o Mac Address
is the MAC address of the IP Phone or WiFi Module based on the
selected Network Type, view only.
o Primary DNS
is the IP address of the primary DNS server.
o Secondary DNS
is the IP address of an auxiliary DNS server.
o Domain Name
is the domain name for the IP Phone.
- WiFi Settings, displayed only with Wireless network enabled.
o SSID
is the Service Set Identifier for the WiFi Module. The SSID must not exceed
32 characters.
o Security
is a security mode for the WiFi Module. Select None, WEP64, WEP128,
WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
o WEP Key
is the security Key values when WEP security mode is used. Multiple
keys can be assigned and the active Key is selected with the radial button in front
of the Key. For WEP 64 ten (10) hex digits are required, for WEP 128 or 26 hex
digits must be entered.
o WPA Key
is the Key value when WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK security mode is used.
- Current Connection:
o Displays
current connection information with AP.
To modify the LAN Settings:
Select the radial button, enter the value in the text box or select a value from a drop down
menu.
When complete, select the
button to load new values to the IP Phone memory.
Changing the Network Type requires an immediate reboot of the IP Phone. When
you exit the menu, you will receive a Reboot notice. The IP Phone must reboot to
utilize the new value entered and change to the appropriate Network Configuration
menu.
Changing any value in the LAN screen requires a reboot of the IP Phone. When you
leave the menu, you will receive a Reboot notice. The IP Phone must reboot to
utilize the new values entered.
The IP address, subnet mask, etc. can only be changed if the static Network Mode is
assigned.
The MAC address is fixed and cannot be modified.
The Current Connection display information only and these items cannot be changed
in the Current Configuration menu.
