Greasing Mode Selector Switch
Use this switch (12) to switch the operating mode for the
grease pump.
(a) MANUAL: Grease pump is operated continuously. When
using a grease gun, set to position (a) MANUAL. Manual
greasing is displayed on the monitor.
(b) AUTO : Greasing is carried out automatically. Normally, use
position (b) AUTO.
q If the system is switched AUTO (b) J MANUAL (a) J
AUTO (b) within 3 seconds, one cycle of automatic greas-
ing is carried out. Use this system when it is desired to
carry out greasing.
Machine Push-up Switch
When using the boom thrust force to push up the chassis when moving down from a bench, there is dan-
ger that the machine may suddenly go down and turn over, so set to the high-pressure setting.
With this switch (13), it is possible to switch the safety valve set
pressure at the head end of the boom circuit to 2 stages.
(a) Low pressure setting:
The boom thrust force is weak, so swaying of the chassis is
small during digging operations, and digging can be performed
smoothly.
This is used for general digging operations on normal ground,
soft rock, or blasted rock.
(b) High pressure setting:
The boom thrust force becomes more powerful, so it is easy to
twist and swing or escape from soft ground. It is effective in
performing digging operations using the bucket and weight of
the machine in confined areas.
