With the poor fuel arrangement specification machine, two fuel
filters are additionally installed to the engine block (one each
on left and right).
(This gives a total of two each on the left and right.)
q Do not fill the fuel filter cartridge with fuel.
q Remove cap (B) and install the fuel filter.
5. When installing, tighten until the packing surface contacts the seal surface of the filter holder, then tighten it 3/
4 of a turn.
If the filter cartridge is tightened too far, the packing will be damaged and this will lead to leakage of fuel. If the
filter cartridge is too loose, fuel will also leak from the packing, so always tighten the correct amount.
q When tightening with a filter wrench, be extremely careful not to dent or damage the filter.
