Test 23 — Servicing the Motor Loop Flushing (Purge) Valves
Problems with a bad loop-flushing valve are best corrected
by replacing the complete valve assembly. To service the
loop flushing valve:
• Engine must be off and power off, with all brakes and
locks engaged.
• Drain motor by removing attached hydraulic lines.
• After draining, replace hydraulic hose.
• Remove hoses from flushing valve and replace valve.
• The hydraulic fluid flow through the valve is adjusted with
valve flow control on bottom of valve.
