5.6.3 Auxiliary water heating system

The batteries will be drained if you operate the auxiliary heater with the
engine switched off. You must recharge the batteries at shorter intervals if
you use the auxiliary heater frequently.

You can use the auxiliary water heater to:
– preheat the engine or
– pre-heat the engine and driver's cab.
Preheating
the engine
If only the engine is to be preheated, adjust the heating system as follows:
• Switch (1) pushed in at the bottom.
• Switch (2) to position Fan off
• Switch (3) to Warm setting
