6.4 Rigging the auxiliary hoist

6.4.2 CHECKLIST: Installing the auxiliary hoist
– The superstructure is slewed to the front.
– The main boom is resting in the boom rest.
1. Attach the auxiliary hoist at the centre of gravity and remove the bolts
from the connection points;

2. Lift the auxiliary hoist on to the turntable and make the connections;

3. – Make the hydraulic connections;

– Make the electrical connection;
à p. 6 - 22.
– Establish the connection to the central lubrication;

4. – Check that the auxiliary hoist is functioning properly;

– Place the hoist rope on and reeve it.
5. – Fit the hoist rope, using the rigging aid if necessary;

– Reeve the hoist rope;
