Removing
1.
Remove
the split pin
from the
end
of
the
throttle
pedaL
2. Release the
throttle
cable from the
throttle
pedal.
3. Remove
the
throttle
pedal
pivot
bolt.
4. Withdraw
the
throttle
pedal
from the
vehicle.
Refitting

Reverse
the
procedure in l

THROTTLE CABLE

Removing
1.
Remove the securing
clip and
withdraw the
clevis
pin
and washers
to
release the
throttle cable
from the
throttle interconnection
rod.
2.
Unscrew the
lower
nut
on
the throttle
cable adjuster.
Release
the throttle
cable from the
abutment bracket.
4. Remove the
screw
to
release the
throttle cable
retaining
clip from the
pedal bracket
assembly.
5. Remove
the split
pin
from the
throttle pedal.
6. Release the
throttle cable from the
throttle pedal and
withdraw the
cable
into
the
engine
compartment.

Reverse the
procedure
in

to
6.

FUEL PUMP
(GHNS and GH D5

Removing
1.
Disconnect
the battery.
Open the luggage
compartment
lid.
Remove the fuel
pump
guard
retaining
screws.
Remove
the
fuel
pump
guard.
Slacken the clip
retaining
the
pump
in
the
support
rubber.
Disconnect
the lead from the
terminal
on
the
pump.
7. From
beneath the
car
disconnect
the
inlet and
outlet
pipe unions.
8.
Disconnect
the breather
pipe.
9. Disconnect the lead
from the
terminal
on
the
pump.
10. Withdraw the
pump
from the
support
rubber.

ll. Reverse
the
procedure
in
1
to
10, ensuring
that
the
inlet and
outlet
pipe
unions
face
upwards
at
an
angle
of
45°
inclined
to
the
centre
line
of the
pump.
