Removing

Removing
1.
Disconnect
the battery.
2.
Remove
the change
speed lever
knob
and locknut.
3.
Unscrew
the four
screws
securing
the
retaining ring.
4.
Raise
the
hinged
arm-rest,
remove
the
retaining
screw
and
withdraw
the
arm-rest
assembly
complete
with
the change
speed lever gaiter
and
retaining ring.
Remove
the four
screws
retaining
the console.
6.
Partially withdraw
the
console, disconnect
the
wiring
from
the back and
then
remove
the console.

Reverse
the removing
procedure in 1
to
6.

VEN'I‘S
Removing
1.
Disconnect
the
air
duct
hoses
from the
back
of
the
face level
vents.
2.
Ease
up
the bottom
locating
tag
of
one
vent
and
slightly
withdraw
the
vent
until
the locating
tag rests
on
the lip
of the fascia
aperture.
3.
Ease
down
the
top
locating
tag
and
remove
the
vent
and the
anti-rattle
packing.
4.
Repeat 2
and
3
for the remaining
face-level
vent.

the
removing
procedure

noting
the
following:
a.
Ensure that
the rounded
corners
of
the
face
level
vent,
adjacent
to
the serrated wheel,
register
with
the
rounded
corners
of the fascia
recess.
b.
The
vent
assemblies
are
marked
L.H.
(left-hand)
and
RH.
(right-hand)
on
their aps for
correct
assembly when
viewing
the fascia
from
inside
the
car.
c.
Ensure the
anti-rattle packing
is
wedged between
the ends of each
vent to prevent
the
vents
from
butting
against
each
other.

Removing
GRILLE
ASSEMBLY
1.
Remove
three
screws
securing
the
front
grille
support
brackets
to
the bonnet
locking
platform.
2. Remove
the three
hexagon
headed
screws
securing
the
bottom
of the
front grille
to
the radiator
duct panel.
3. Remove
the radiator
grille.
GRILLE
PANEL
4.
Carry
out
operations
1
to
3.
5.
Remove
the
12
screws
and clips
to
release
the RH.
and L.H. grille panels
from the
grille panel.
