No. of Channels
The Input size determines the amount of acquisition memory in a number of channels that
the Lynx II assigns to the currently selected Input number. The value can range from 256
channels to 32768 channels. Each channel can store up to 2
32
-1 (approx. 4.29B) counts.
For Input #1, the Input Size represents the number of channels, or granularity, of the
digitized PHA value over the full energy range of the input signal.
For Input #2, the Input Size represents the number of channels, or sequential bins, into
which the time-correlated data (based on the current dwell time) will be stored.
Preset Options
Select from Real, Live, or None which disables the Preset Limits fields.
Preset Limits
Time preset can be Seconds, Minutes, Hours, or Days. Preset time can be in effect while
other preset conditions (i.e. Comp Preset) are active. Fractional values for the respective
unit range are accepted. Effective preset time can range from 0.1s to 42,948,000s.
