MC92N0-G does not 
turn on.
Lithium-ion battery 
not charged.
Charge or replace the lithium-ion battery in the MC92N0-G.
Lithium-ion battery

Ensure battery is installed properly. See

System crash. Perform a warm boot. If the MC92N0-G still does not turn on, 
perform a cold boot. See

Rechargeable 
lithium-ion battery did 
not charge.
Battery failed.  Replace battery. If the MC92N0-G still does not operate, try a 
warm boot, then a cold boot. See

MC92N0-G removed 
from cradle while 
battery was 
charging. 
Insert the 
MC92N0-G 
in cradle and begin charging. The 
lithium-ion battery requires less than four hours to recharge fully.
Cannot see characters 
on display.
MC92N0-G not 
powered on.
Press the Power button.
During data 
communication, no 
data was transmitted, 
or transmitted data 
was incomplete.
MC92N0-G removed 
from cradle or 
unplugged from host 
computer during 
communication.
Replace the MC92N0-G in the cradle, or reattach the 
Synchronization cable and re-transmit.
Incorrect cable 
configuration.

Communication 
software was 
incorrectly installed 
or configured.
Perform setup. Refer to the MC92N0-G Integrator Guide for 
details.
For Windows devices, ensure that Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 or 
greater or Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) is installed on 
the host computer.
For Android devices, ensure that MTP driver is installed.
No sound is audible. Volume setting is 
low or turned off.

key combinations to increase or decrease the volume.
