Specify a file name of up to 12 characters (8 file name characters and 3 file extension characters).
The following characters can be used in file names. Full-size characters cannot be used.
Alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), dollar sign ($), and periods (.).
An error message will be displayed if illegal characters are used in a file name. If an error message
appears, re-enter the file name using permissible characters.
♦
There are no restrictions on the number of characters or lines that can be set to a LST file, but the
number of characters and lines that are set should match the settings under List size. Any charac-
ters or lines over the settings under List size will be ignored.
Example: 10 characters per line
When ABCDEFGHIJKLMN (14 characters) is set to the first line in the LST file, the display will be
ABCDEFGHIJ when the first line is displayed. The 11
th
and subsequent characters will be ignored.
♦
Click the Edit Button to open the text editor and, if creating a new LST file, save the file with LST as
the extension. Refer to the manual for the text editor you are using for information on methods for
saving files.
Some text editors automatically set TXT as the file extension. In such cases, use Explorer to
change the extension to LST.
♦

the system language that has been set.
