Adding and Editing Alarms/Events
Alarms and events can be added or edited.

1 Switch Sets messages for each label.
2 Occurred Text Sets the character color displayed when alarms or events occur.
3 Released Text Sets the character color displayed when alarms or events are cleared.
4 Use the String Table Select to use a character string registered in the character string table as mes-
sages to display functional objects related to alarms and events.
5 Message Sets the message (up to 80 characters) to be displayed on related functional
objects.
6 String No. Selects the character string to be displayed as a message from the character
string table displayed when the Refer to the String Table Button is clicked if
the Use the String Table Option is selected. The selected character string
number is displayed in the String No. Field.
7 Address Sets the address to monitor alarms/events.
8 Priority Sets the alarm/event priority order (1 to 9,999).
The display order on related functional objects can be changed based on the
priority order.
9 Display Type Select one of the following four types of display.
High alarm
Middle alarm
Low alarm
Event
Restrictions can be applied based on the display type when displaying alarms
using related functional objects.
10 Group Specifies the group that belongs to the set alarm/event data.
Click the Set Button to display the Alarm/Event Group Settings Dialog Box.
Select the group, add it, and click the OK Button. Refer to Specifying Alarm/
Event Groups for details.
Only information for specified groups can be displayed when displaying on re-
lated functional objects.
11 Screen Switch Sets the screen that will be automatically switched to when an alarm or event is
generated.
