Change Screen
Press the Change Button on the Registered Monitor Screen to switch to the screen for changing cur-
rent values. Hexadecimal and binary input are used.

No. Setting Details
1 HEX Sets the changed value in hexadecimal. Hexadecimal input is enabled when Change word is
selected as the mode.
2 BIN Enables changing values by pressing the buttons for 0 or 1 for each binary digit. Binary input
is enabled when Change bit, Force ON, or Force OFF are selected as the mode.
Specifies the mode for changing current values.
Change word: Uses hexadecimal input.
Change bit: Uses binary input. Turns the specified bit ON or OFF.
Force ON: Uses binary input. Force ON the specified bit.
Force OFF: Uses binary input. Force OFF the specified bit.
3 Mode
Force Cancel: Clears the force ON/OFF.
4 Write Writes the changed value to the PLC and returns the Registered Monitor Screen.
5 Back Makes the changed value invalid and returns the Registered Monitor Screen.
Continuous Monitor Screen Functions and Usage
The Continuous Monitor Screen displays the contents of the DM and EM Areas in list format.
NS15 PTs can display current value data for 300 words made up to two lists of 150 words (10 words ×
15 lines). NS12 PTs can display current value data for 200 words made up of two lists of 100 words (10
words
× 10 lines). NS10 and NS8 PTs can display current value data for 100 words made up of two
lists of 50 words (10 words
× 5 lines). NS5 PTs can display current value data for 25 words (5 words × 5
lines).

The word monitor settings are enabled until the PT is turned OFF or reset. If the device monitor
function is closed, the display will use the same settings the next time device monitor function is
started.
