Chapter F: PARTS REPLACEMENT
AND REPAIR
1 REMOVING COLUMN COVERS
NOTE
Always switch the X-ray unit off before removing or opening any covers.
1.1 Opening the front panel
Unscrew the attachment screw on the underside of the moving column. Remove the
adjusting lever of the Frankfort plane light by unscrewing it. When opening the front panel
lift the upper arm cover slightly from the front.
NOTE
The upper arm cover is secured to the upper arm frame with two screws. The front edge of
the upper arm cover can be lifted slightly to allow the front panel to open. Do not try to force
the upper arm cover open any further than necessary.
