4.5 Technical: Update software (T3500)
ProOne with software version 1.9.0.0.R or later can also be updated using Planmeca
Device Tool. For more information, see the Planmeca Device Tool manual.
To update the X-ray unit software to the latest version, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the X-ray unit off. The on/off switch is located on the back of the moving
column.
2. Insert the USB memory stick containing the latest software into the USB port (marked
USB) on the back of the moving column. To do this, you will first have to remove the
cover that protects the terminals. Remove the protective cover by unscrewing the two
screws at the bottom and then unlatching the cover at the top.
NOTE: Do not plug any other USB devices than the USB memory stick into the USB
port.
3. You can then switch the X-ray unit back on.
4. Now select the option Update software (T3500) on the
Technical settings
display. The
Update software (T3500)
display will appear. Use the up or down arrow to select the
software version you wish to use and then touch the
Update
button at the bottom of
the display.
NOTE: You need a password to gain access to the technical settings. The password
is 1701.
