7. Final dry fuel rail passages with clean lint-free cloth
and rifle cleaner or suitable push rod.
8. Coat new expansion plug with LOCTITE
277 Plastic
Gasket and install in front face of head.

Measuring Cylinder Head Flatness
Check cylinder head flatness using D05012ST Precision
Straightedge and feeler gauge. Check lengthwise,
crosswise, and diagonally in several places.

If out-of-flat exceeds specifications, the cylinder head
must be resurfaced or replaced. (See MEASURE
