Temperature Above Normal
Radiator core and/or side screens Clean radiator as required.

Engine overloaded Reduce engine load.
Too low crankcase oil level Fill crankcase to proper oil level.
Loose or defective fan belt Replace/tighten fan belt as required.
Defective thermostat(s) Test thermostat opening
temperature; replace thermostats as
required. See REMOVE

Group 070.
Damaged cylinder head gasket Replace cylinder head gasket. See
CHECK FOR HEAD GASKET
FAILURES in this group.
Defective coolant pump Replace coolant pump. See
REMOVE COOLANT PUMP in

Defective radiator cap Replace radiator cap as required.
