Mixing of Lubricants
In general, avoid mixing different brands or types of oil.
Oil manufacturers blend additives in their oils to meet
certain specifications and performance requirements.
Mixing different oils can interfere with the proper
functioning of these additives and degrade lubricant
performance.
Consult your John Deere dealer to obtain specific
information and recommendations.

programs to help you monitor machine performance and
identify potential problems before they cause serious
damage.
Oil and coolant samples should be taken from each
system prior to its recommended change interval.
