Front Arm and Cam Replacement Procedure
Front Arm Removal
1 Remove the main body covers as per procedure, Cover Replacement (on page 53).
2 Remove the tension from the inner flat belt pulleys by lifting up on the stairarms, pulling the flat belts off
the flat belt pulleys, and then gently setting the stairarm down.
Upper Arm Cam Cover Removal
3 Remove the two #10-24X1.25 screws that secure the upper arm cam covers to the upper arm, then
remove the covers. It may be necessary to adjust the position of the vertical handlebar to gain access
to the upper arm cam cover screws.
