NOTE
This document describes the maximal equipment of the
secamVSA 535/seca mBCA 525 product family: measurement of
blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation and bioimpedance.
Depending on the actual equipment of your device, some of this infor-
mation may not be relevant to your device. Pay attention to the infor-
mation in this document which is relevant to your device.
NOTE
This part of the user documentation contains information about con-
figuring the device for measuring mode and for integrating it in a net-
work.
Integrating this device in a network containing other devices may
lead to previously unknown risks to patients, operators or third par-
ties. It is the responsibility of the operating company to determine,
analyze, evaluate, and control these risks.
The functions described in this part of the user documentation are
accessible only to users with administrator rights.

1. PREPARING CONFIGURATION
1.1 Administrator login
NOTICE!
Faulty configuration
For devices with bioimpedance measurement: During configuration,
data are transmitted to the measuring mat via the infrared interface.
The infrared interface is located in the magnetic catch of the monitor.
Ensure that the measuring mat is correctly suspended in the mag-
netic catch of the monitor throughout the entire configuration pro-
cess Suspending the measuring mat in the magnetic catch.
1. Switch on the device.
The measuring mat – if there is one – switches on automatically.
2. Log in as the administrator:
Initial login: Activating initial user accounts
Log in routinely: continue at step 3.
