5. SETTING UP PERIPHERALS
5.1 Setting up a LAN connection to the network (stationary operation)
Introduction For stationary use, for example in a treatment room at your practice, you can
connect the monitor to your LAN network to exchange data with the
seca analytics 115 PC software or the seca connect 103.
A requirement for exchanging data with the
seca analytics 115 PC software
is that the
seca analytics 115 PC software is installed on a server or stand-
alone PC and the network configuration (UDP or DHCP) is known.
A requirement for exchanging data with the
seca connect 103 software is
that the
seca connect 103 software is installed on a server and the configura-
tion of the
seca connect 103 software (server IP and connect port) is known.
For devices with bioimpedance measurement: If you connect the device to
your network via LAN cable, the measuring mat can communicate with the
monitor via the factory-activated WiFi direct (BIA mat) connection. This
allows data to be exchanged even when the measuring mat is not suspended
in the magnetic catch of the monitor.
