5.5 Setting up a seca 360° wireless connection
Introduction If you use devices from the seca 36 wireless system in your institution, e.g.
a measuring station, you can connect them to the
secamVSA 535/
seca mBCA 525. You can submit the parameters height and weight directly
to the device and adopt them in a seca patient file.
On the
secamVSA 535, the values also appear in the Vital signs tab.
In order to be able to communicate with devices from the
seca 360° wireless
system, the
seca 360° wireless module of the secamVSA 535/
seca mBCA 525 must be activated and a wireless group set up.
NOTE
The device can only receive data, not transmit it, via the
seca 360° wireless connection.
Follow the instructions in this section to achieve a stable connection
of the desired
seca 360° wireless devices and to prevent the
undesired integration of other devices.
You should also follow the instructions for use for the
seca 360° wireless system devices being used.
