1.6 Checking the consignment
1. Check the packaging and the delivered items for visible damages.
2. Report any claims for damages immediately to the shipping company.
3. Retain damaged parts for clarication.
4. Check the scope of delivery by comparing your order to the shipping documents for
correctness and completeness.

Note
Bending of the sensor during transport
Sensors that are delivered without conduit can be bent during transport. This bending does not
aect the quality of the sensor. The mineral insulated cables used for SITRANS TS are bendable.
• Bend the sensor into the required position before you install it. When bending the sensor,
note the bending radius of ≥ 24 mm and the length NBL of 60 mm at the tip that is not
bendable.
